The story begins with a meeting in the southern Mediterranean, Marseille. Louise and Rosina, two expatriate soul sisters find each other and goes in to this adventure together, their Swedish origins gave birth to the label, Le Stockholmsyndrome and gives life to a first collection in 2010. The two young women make a clothing line that identifies them. A perfect harmony between elegance and sobriety, attests to an incontestable alchemy between the two designers. They propose a collection that feels methodically and conscientiously elaborated. Theirs creations has Scandinavian influence and a modern, uncluttered line, combining urbanism and distinction whether it is the unusual geometric neckline judiciously associated with chaste folds, or pants, jumpsuits, swimsuits or even jackets. Each model is thought and made with care. A voyage of shapes and harmonious fabrics sober, fluid and colorful. A line of timeless clothing, sharply cut, but at the same time sensual in a style developed near the free and dynamic woman of today…
Rosina, recently flown to other horizons, leaves her friend to develop the label. Le Stockholmsyndrome has now established itself in the international world of style and the collections succeed one another and follow a thread that enriches itself as Louise travels.
Corporate social responsibility at le stockholmsyndrome, the concept of responsibility is a reoccurring theme amongst our production and sourcing ethics. We produce everything within france, and the factories we work with ensure a trustworthy environment for the creation of our clothes. Being in near distance to our suppliers, we maintain a close relationship with all people involved in our making of garments. Also, it limits our transport distance. To us, slow fashion is the future, therefore our products are made to last, in production ethics, quality and design.
